​The new CGX102 electro acoustic guitar extends Yamaha's best selling CG Classical Guitar Series – combining great performance characteristics with versatile tonal control and highly professional amplification flexibility.

The CGX102 features a solid spruce top with nato back/sides and nato/mahogany neck. The rosewood fingerboard and bridge provides accurate and defined response.

A new Preamp System (system 68N) with its Yamaha contact pick up offers excellent tonal flexibility and when amplified this instrument delivers a highly detailed, smooth and flexible sound - making it ideal for the stage and recording duties.
